This course provides an insightful dissection of identifiable elements that influence innovative measures to sport organizational decision making.
Comprehension of the history, explanation, and traits of creative thinking will be explored in alignment with sports industry trends (past, present, and prospective future).
Economic objectives will be discussed and weighed against environmental factors (i.e., economy, technology, segmentation, political and legal, as well as biology) that force sport organizations to adapt, evolve, and innovate.
Designed as a practicum for aspiring and current sport administrators to simulate, in fun and engaging ways, scenarios to strategize and to build a professional sport organization from the ground up, incorporating features such as selecting a hosting city, site location, venue development, sales tactics, and marketing initiatives, among others.
